Advanced Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator Training | London
Saturday 5 September 2026 | 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Take your facilitation skills to the next level with this one-day advanced training for qualified breathwork facilitators and breathwork interns from all breathwork schools who want to deepen their practice and work with greater confidence, safety and trauma-informed clinical understanding.
Led by Elif Clarke, Counselling Psychologist and Senior Breathwork Trainer, this experiential workshop integrates conscious connected breathwork, trauma-informed psychology, nervous system regulation and somatic practice to help you understand the person behind the breath.
A signature focus of this training is learning how to work with the throat, jaw and neck—areas that often hold patterns of emotional suppression, protection and inhibited expression. You will learn how to recognise these patterns through the breath and body, and how to support clients using trauma-informed principles, ethical touch and therapeutic presence to encourage a more natural, open breathing pattern.
What Will You Take Into Your Practice?
By the end of the day, you will be able to:
- Read the Language of Breath & Body™ to recognise unconscious breathing and body patterns.
- Work confidently with the throat, jaw and neck to support authentic expression using trauma-informed principles.
- Apply ethical therapeutic touch to encourage breath, regulation and integration.
- Recognise nervous system states and adapt your facilitation to each client’s capacity.
- Strengthen your therapeutic presence, helping clients feel safe enough to explore, express and integrate their experience.
- Have an opportunity to be faciliated -a space for you to be taken care.
Who is this workshop for?
Certified breathwork facilitators, practitioners-in-training and interns from any breathwork training background (not specific to one certification), plus trauma-informed therapists, counsellors or psychologists wanting a deeper understanding of the body and breath.
Why is thisTraining Different?
Most breathwork trainings teach you how to facilitate breathing. This one teaches you how to understand the person who is breathing — built from years of clinical practice and training hundreds of practitioners.
