Why do I need to learn how to breathe?

The key to your healing exists within your body and breath.

Most of us have experienced some level of trauma in our lives. When these issues are unprocessed, they show up in your life through anger, stress, depression, extreme anxiety, eating disorders and avoidance. This comes from experiencing stressful events such as abuse, neglect, natural disasters, war, or loss of loved ones through illness. The thinking mind can’t work through these issues to let them go, they are held in the body, or more specifically in our tissue.

This is a scientific fact. Untreated issues can affect physical health and make us really sick. As the origin of your pain lives in your body, your body needs to be part of the healing equation. You cannot rationalise with trauma with just the conscious mind. This is one of the reasons why many talking therapies only go so far

In this day retreat, we’ll teach you to heal yourself through your breath, starting with intention setting following gentle breathwork and somatic practices to stimulate vagus nerve and trigger safety and calm feeling in the nervous system and then more advanced breathwork, more specifically Transformational Breath®.

Self-Healing Tool to Access inner Healing Intelligence

It’s been said that one breath session is equivalent to two years of therapy, so imagine the impact of doing this twice a day and how this will help integrate past trauma.

Shamanic Drumming

The afternoon Transformational Breath session will close with a guided Shamanic Drumming session. The drumbeat is one of the oldest and most sacred sounds that we can use to access the subconscious and healing. The drum sounds connect us back to the primal sound of the heart beating- the first sound we hear in the womb. We will provide Reiki hands on healing as well to create the perfect container for integration to occur.

Retreat details

Our retreat will start at 10.30am in the morning. After short background information and gentle breathwork practices including somatic experincing, you will be experiencing breathing analysis ( your breath tells your unconscous) and according to your breath analysis you will be guided to set an intention.

You will then be lying down on mats with pillows and blankets during the sessions, using Transformational Breath to breathe, feeling the refreshing difference brought to your body and mind. Our dedicated facilitators will guide you to breathe properly to get your best breathing experience with the help of music, movement, sound and acupressure. The first session will be completed with Yoga Nidra practice.

The afternoon Transformational Breath session will close by 4.30 with a guided Shamanic Drumming session and Reiki.

Preparation and Integration of Psychedelic Journey

if you decide to embark on the psychedelic journey and/or had already been, breathwork and other modalities you will be learning at the retreat can be a helpful to prepare you or facilitate your integration journey.  

Breathwork is seeing a revival to psychedelics due to its transformational potential, safety, and simplicity. 


Who is the event for?

Anyone over the age of 18, whether you’ve experienced Transformational Breath® before doesn’t matter. All levels of fitness and experience accommodated


Are there any risks or contraindications?

You will be asked to fill medical form at the time of registration. According to the detail of the medical form, we may need to make certain adjustments in the way we breath you, e.g prop you up on some extra pillows.


How should I plan for this event?

You will be lying down on mats with pillows and blankets during this session. Wear loose comfortable clothing and layers are good (nothing too tight or restrictive round the waist). Please avoid caffeine, alcohol or cigarettes before you arrive. Do not plan a wild night afterwards (unless you really must), because you will not benefit from the full experience.
