ABOUT THIS EVENT
We are offering six weeks of journey to become your own medicine, to heal stress and traumas you encounter in your life – through breath, movement, and sound.
You will have the opportunity to learn new tools and techniques to incorporate into your daily life. These will help reset your nervous system and strengthening your resilience, helping you deal with emotional highs and lows.
Our body is constantly sending clear information to us, but often we cannot clearly receive and act on this information. Once we learn how to tune into our body and emotions – to use this information as a guide – our lives begin to improve in many ways:
- We learn emotional regulation and how to effectively self-soothe.
- We live more peaceful lives with less triggering – more calm, and more inner peace.
- We more easily access our potential, and connect with our true selves.
This six week class is designed to improve your physical and emotional well-being through awareness of your breath and body. During this work, you will build conscious connected breath and body awareness practices that interrupt habitual response, unhelpful behaviour, and thoughts.
This is an online 6 week class that runs Tuesdays for two hours. You will get zoom recordings of each class.

Week 1: Introduction – Body awareness

- Introduction to : Polyvagel theory, Regulation of the nerves system, Fight and fight response – recognise in day to day life, Neuroception – be aware of the sensation in the body

Week 5: Becoming your authentic self

- Introduction to: self soothing, strengthening your resilience, how to internalise the lost part of the soul that left your body through the trauma

Week 6: Stepping into your potential – connecting to your life purpose

This is an online 6 week class that runs Tuesdays for two hours. You will get zoom recordings of each class. You will be part of the facebook group to share and to learn from each other including to access all materials presented in the class.

What do you need to prepare for the class
-Availability and commitment to join online session.
-Willingness to invest in yourself and learn a breathing tool to use daily.
-Access to internet via computer, smartphone or tablet to log into each live session.
-A quiet place or headphones to join and practice during session.
-A comfortable place to sit or lie down
-Some extra pillows to prop you up on, a blanket to keep your body warm
-A glass of water in case you may feel dry mouth during practice
The class instructor
I’m Elif Clarke, a senior trainer and facilitator in Transformational Breath®. I have had 20 years experience of working as Psychologist and BABCP registered Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and EMDR therapist with clients who are suffering from complex trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and many other psychological problems at National Health Service. My approach is being influenced by shamanic journeying, reiki, akashic records and plant medicine.
I’m also running online 1:1 sessions, free full moon breathing circle, workshops and retreats in UK and in different part of world, such as Costa Rica, Chine, Brazil, Canada, Mexica, Turkey, USA, Norway, France, Ibiza, Italy, and UK.
